The tutelary deity of the Neo-Clan was a real man—one who adapted to the times.
When he spotted an opportunity to create his own reality, he seized it—shaping the path of his progeny, the Incidental Occxie, to this very day.
His sublime trajectory began in a nascent community in Showa 38 (1963)—the very year the Incidental Occxie entered Mother Earth’s atmosphere via the seminal Maggie May.
He had the mind to create an exquisite life—one he truly wanted to lead.
In the early days, he sacrificed much to lift his family from the ground, rewriting the narrative of his impoverished beginnings in the harsh climate of the Great White North—born via Rose LaBelle on June 15, 1935—a time that was dark, troubled, and bleak.
It was here, in his small emerging community, that the opportunity presented itself to become one of the first Nissan (Datsun) dealers in the Great White North.
The Neo-Clan’s surreal journey took root in the ancient land of Japan, where first contact was made with native Japanese.
Invited by Nissan to visit Tokyo, was where his family’s extraordinary Japanese trajectory lifted off into the surreal.
Imagine arriving in Japan, in ’68—Japanese industry exploding in a profound way as this nation fully embraced the industrial fray in its own uniquely disciplined manner.
He could feel the vibrancy of the Japanese—tuning into the frequency of this ancient nation and its rare customs that enchanted him during his stay.
This seminal trip transformed the history of his family trajectory, for when he returned from Japan,, he came back as a different man—forever changed by what he saw and how he was received by the Japanese.
This early experience in the ancient land of Japan, and its classical customs etched a deep impression upon him.
Fortifying his strength of character, and that innate moral principle remained with him until his Earthly journey concluded April 5, 2022.
The true desire of our tutelary deity was to turn his ever-capable hand toward one of his great loves and share it with the community—this was the seminal moment in which he established Fili’s Deli.
Deriving from a Friday night tradition in which he prepared an array of snacks and delicacies—crackers and cheese and an assortment of fine deli meats—his Seity was truly pleased.
He had many homestyle recipes to serve his hungry community as part of his ephemeral dream.
He too desired to partake in a unique variety of deli treats—he also loved to eat.
At a buck seventy-five, the Friday-only prime rib roast-beef sandwiches had the hungry masses lined up out the door, always asking for more.
His gregarious nature and gentle demeanor were lauded throughout the closely-knit community.
He was regarded as an esteemed member of that different time and place—something now residing inside Hardcore History.
The continuity of Fili’s Deli’s trajectory has set the stage for a revival of this story—giving back to the Japanese community—where Fili’s Deli returns once again to serve the hungry Japanese.
It is in this same spirit of hospitality that the Incidental Occxie honors the Japanese through the legacy of Fili’s Deli, bringing a new sheen to a world of delectable delicatessen treats.
Fili’s Deli 2.0 now exists to continue my father’s dream.
Surreal as it may seem, Fili’s Deli was not created as a transaction or an investment.
It existed due to this prophet and his desire to feed his own community—making the story of Fili’s Deli so very unique.
Fili’s Deli represents the philosophy of binding our common humanity through delicious, delectable delicatessen treats—making the tutelary deity of the Kizuna Jinja, the founder of Fili’s Deli, powerful, sublime, and unique.
