The “wa” Of Vacuuming

Previously I have looked at vacuuming as a bothersome “chore”.

However, I have now found this task to be more of an opportunity to put on the headphones and listen to an interesting podcast for 1/2 hour.

When you change your mind, you can understand a chore in a different perspective, and that is what really matters.

This can be applied to most of the things we dreads.

It’s not always easy to get the motivation, and as the great Brian Tracy said “Kiss The Frog”. This means doing all of the bothersome things first thing in the day

For example, creating a compelling presentation or a financial spreadsheet is not something I find fun, even though these are very important things to advance your vision.

Step back and look at your tasks from a different angle and in a brand new way.

Changing your mind will definitely bring you one step closer to where you want to be.

People often ask my how I learnt to read Chinese characters.

And I always reply “One at a time”.

Every thousand mile journey starts with the first step.

Cross The Chasm

Cross The Chasm

Looking back over past and realizing that the only thing holding me back from achieving the vision I have held for so many years was in making the decision to “Cross the Chasm”.

It was with conscious and purposeful intent that I said to myself, “You are no longer afraid to become who you are meant to be”.

Everyone’s chasm looks different, but the first step is to realize “The Chasm” is in front of you, so when are you going to make the decision to realize your vision of who you are, and “Cross the Chasm?”
